Blog to the Roots.

Akash means “sky.” This little guy has brought so much joy to Asha House since he was born in August. From his birth the government has been wanting to take him away and put him into one of the state run institutions. They want to do this because it will bring more money into the state organizations. Just today the government called to inform that they want to come and take Akash in three days. 

Asha House has been Akash’s home since before his birth. Everyone there is deeply attached to him, as he is to them. Over the past couple months six other children have had to be moved to new places. Having Akash taken away would be another huge blow to Asha House, as well as putting him in potential danger. 

Please be praying for favor from the government to allow this little one to stay with his “family.”
